Thida Angkor Passenger Privacy and Data Protection Policy

A. Privacy and Data Security Policy

This policy outlines how Thida Angkor collects and protects your personal data when you use Thida Angkor services through the Thida Angkor App. We respect your privacy and protect your personal data with the highest security standards.

B. Collection of Personal Data

“Personal Data” is any information that can be used to identify you. Thida Angkor App requests to collect only the data necessary for the service, such as:

• Phone number and ID card
• Bank account number
• Location (GPS Location) (used for delivery and security services)
• Thida Angkor App usage history
• Device information (phone model, IP, or device ID)
• These data are collected directly from Thida Angkor App or through transactions that occur during the use of the service. /h2>

Thida Angkor collects, uses, discloses, or processes your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice, with your consent, or in accordance with applicable law, such as when required to enter into a contract between the company and the user of the service. Thida Angkor may collect personal data by completing user forms or registration forms (such as your name, contact information, and other identifying information as required) on the App or on your own documents.

C. Use of Location Data

Thida Angkor App uses your GPS location information for the following specific purposes:

1. Locate customers and drivers to provide proper transportation services.
2. Show customers' locations to drivers during the process (Google Map)
3. Use for safety purposes, such as tracking or helping in case of an emergency.
4. We may capture location when using the App (Foreground Location) and in the background (Background Location) to ensure continuous connection between drivers and customers.

    - Location data will not be shared with third parties, except by court order in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
    - You can turn off or on location access in your phone's settings.
    - For GPS Location, Background, we only use it when the driver is operating the job, and when the operation is complete, we will turn
      off the background again.
    - The use of location data is used for service and safety purposes only and is not used for advertising or other study purposes.

D. Purpose of data use

Information that Thida Angkor requires, such as phone number, ID card, for the purpose of providing transportation services (Taxi Meter) effectively and ensuring safety for passengers and drivers by verifying the driver's information and location via Google map (while traveling). Thida Angkor requires the user's name and bank account number as a means of sending money to users from other benefits that Thida Angkor provides as an incentive to use Thida Angkor's services.

• Sensitive Data

For passengers, some of the personal data we collect may be sensitive, such as personal data that is national identification information. We collect sensitive personal data only with your consent and/or in strict compliance with the law. In the event that the user refuses to provide information such as an ID card or bank account number, Thida Angkor can only provide a perfect travel service, but Thida Angkor cannot provide other benefits to the traveler through Thida Wallet. In this case, the traveler can come to collect it directly at Thida Angkor’s headquarters (in exchange or in cash).

• Personal data of minors

As a parent or legal guardian, do not allow a minor to provide personal data to Thida Angkor. In the event that a minor’s personal data is disclosed to Thida Angkor App, only with the formal consent of the guardian to allow the use of the minor’s personal data to use Thida Angkor’s services, and the guardian is responsible for the actions of the minor.

• During booking:

When booking or calling for a ride, Thida Angkor service, the passenger's name and photo (may not be shown if the customer does not fill in), phone number, and GPS location will be shared with the driver to contact the passenger to pick up the passenger. The driver's GPS location is also shared with the passenger to know the driver's progress to the location where the passenger is waiting and to be aware of any changes in the normal travel route to pick up and to facilitate communication between the driver and the passenger. Note: This information is only displayed during the booking and travel process. Upon completion of the transaction, the information will be automatically deleted from the driver's and passenger's accounts, keeping the transaction number and date. The data is used for service, technical support, account management, and improving the user experience.

E. Data Sharing

Thida Angkor does not share your personal information with third parties. Thida Angkor is responsible and strictly guarantees, except for legal requirements, orders or judgments from the court in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

F. Data Security

We use digital security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. We use SSL/TLS and encryption to protect data when transmitted over the network. Our website and API services use HTTPS to ensure that data is transferred securely. However, no online system is 100% secure, so we recommend that users exercise caution when storing their personal information. We use technical and administrative security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or theft. Thida Angkor is committed to ensuring that users’ personal information is secure and used properly to provide our services.

G. User Rights

Users may request:

• Review or modify personal information (name, phone number, address, banking information).
• Delete their account or personal data by sending a formal request to info@thidaangkor.com.
• Users may request the deletion of their account or personal data by emailing info@thidaangkor.com. Some data (such as travel history and financial transactions) may be retained for a period necessary for legal and security purposes.

H. Safety Policy

Passengers are not allowed to carry illegal weapons, dangerous materials, drugs, contraband or items prohibited by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Passengers must also follow the driver’s instructions during the trip. For foreign passengers, valid personal identification documents are required for travel, such as a valid visa, passport, etc. In case of legal violations, the passenger is fully responsible. The driver and the company shall not be held liable.

I. Compliance with Traffic Laws

1. The number of passengers must not exceed the seating capacity specified for each type of vehicle.
2. Passengers must wear seat belts at all times during the trip or wear a helmet in the case of motorbikes (depending on the type of vehicle).
3. Passengers are not allowed to instruct the driver to commit unsafe or illegal acts, such as speeding, driving without following traffic laws or using restricted lanes.
4. Pets or heavy items that may affect the safety or performance of the vehicle are not allowed.

J. Payment Policy

Passengers must show respect for the driver and other passengers. The use of offensive language or any form of inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited. Thida Angkor encourages passengers to make informed decisions before booking a ride, avoiding cancellations that may cause inconvenience or annoyance to the company or the driver. In the event of cancellation, it should only occur in necessary circumstances and must be accompanied by a valid reason.

K. Ethic Policy

The price will be clearly displayed in the app before the ride starts (for rides with a pre-set destination) or displayed at the end of the trip (for rides without a pre-set destination). Passengers can pay the fare in cash directly to the driver, through the driver’s bank account, or by pre-paying through the Thida Angkor app.

L. Emergency Communication and Assistance

In the event of any emergency, passengers can contact the customer service provided by the company, which is publicly announced and available on the app.

M. Policy Changes

If Thida Angkor makes any policy changes, Thida Angkor will notify users via the Thida Angkor app, social media, or the company’s official website to ensure that users can be informed of the update quickly.

N. Governing Law

This policy complies with the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the requirements of the Google Play Policy (User Data Policy & Location Access).
